You can try. Still within the normal processing timelines.

Hi ladies and gents,

I just finished my oath ceremony, it was a lovely event with 62 people in attendance. (Vancouver). Instead of an e-certificate, they provided us with a hard copy, which is totally fine (trying not to be picky!).
Wishing you all the best, and to those still waiting for the process to be completed: just remember, there's always light at the end of the tunnel.
All the best to everyone!

LPP Completed: May 9, 2025
Citizenship in Progress May 29, 2025 (Showed on tracker on May 31, 2025)
Scheduled for citizenship oath (In person in Ottawa): June 5, 2025 (Asked for reschedule, less than a week of notice which interferes with professional conference)

I got to notice about the oath on May 30, sent a reply email requesting for a change on the ceremony date. I have encounter feelings about this, since I am not that close to any office, I was thinking that my oath was going to be virtual, receiving the in-person ceremony was good, I share the same feelings as many people here, an in-person ceremony makes it more "special" on my mind but unfortunately, I am traveling for a conference this week and it is imposible for me to cancel tickets, hotel and all the arrangements. I was also surprised by the less than a week notice!

Anyway, I asked for a reschedule, I hope that this won't take forever, the good think about this is that Ottawa is holding plenty of ceremonies this month so, fingers crossed, I may get invitation for a later one very soon. I will update that here.

Thanks for reeding me.

Or possibly in fact all or almost all applications pass through Sydney and Vancouver, so any identification of them as 'slow' is meaningless, because they're also the offices through which all the fast files pass through:

Sorry, I had to edit, the new post / embedding is terrible, here's the operative part:
same here , the ircc agent told me that the bg check is always done by vancouver office, so when people says my application got transfered to vancouver its true but not only you everyone goes their for bg check from what i understood
