You've misunderstood my comment. I am familiar with this process. What I am saying is that I don't know what IRCC's new announcement means for the web form you already submitted under the existing process.

Should be. Last Friday, I spoke with IRCC, and the agent informed me that an officer has been assigned to the webfrom and will respond to your request. I still haven't recived a response. I will contact them later this week if there is no update.
