Depandants overseas applications should be submitted with the Main applicant at same time in Canada.

All together you should declare all Depandants using Portal and submit
I actually applied together with dependants and now ircc has sent one of them a mail requesting that he should submit personal information forms. If I go through the portal, there are some unnecessary forms it is requesting for. However, I think I figured out it should be sent through webform

hello,
My dependents got TRV, and now they are with me in Canada. Are they going to get PR with me once I approved or they have go wait inside Canada for their files processing ? Does anyone heard or know such cases.
Thanks in advance

Do you know if they are aligibe to apply for a Work Permit?

I, the primary applicant in Canada, submitted my overseas wife's and children (under 18) application along with mine in August 2024. Me and my wife received email confirmations in November 2024 stating that our applications had been received. I received a biometric request in December 2024. Recently, in May 2025, my wife received a checklist requesting additional documents, including proof or relationship, generic forms, copies of passports, proof of biometric fee payment etc.

Some of the documents listed in the checklist were already submitted with my initial application. Is this normal process? Am I required to resubmit those documents? If so, should the be submitted via webform? Do I have to submit the IMM 0008 Generic Application Form for my children as well?

I would appreciate your guidance. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello , when i fill the imm5669 application while im the abroad spouse should i choose principle applicant , or the the spouse,common-law partner or dependent child aged 18 years or older ,, option ??

Based on the videos and reading the guidance, if your overseas- you put the applicant as that was what i did - as i am overseas/outside Canada, if you were in Canada then.you would put dependant spouse etc. But open the guidance and read it through or watch YouTube videos about filling out the forms

see a video and follow - it clarify alot of things on that form after my mistakes. Since your overseas - and IRCC request of you to fill out these forms, you are the principal applicant. when your doing the history, there should be NO GAPS, between months and years. each timeline should be picked up from the following month and year etc, my form was sent back due to those mistake. also, all forms especially some forms that doesn't allowed you to be sign them online, you should printed off form and sign it manually and scanned it clearly, preferable pdf format and upload.

Those forms that DO NOT give the electronic signature option or those forms that you CANNOT write/type your name in the signature area (block u fr doing so) on the form. When complete, scanned and saved in pdf format preferably and other formats that is requested by IRCC

If the signature box allows you to sign electronically then thats fine, Do that! However, some forms DOES NOT allow you to sign electronically. When that is the case, you would need to print off the completed form and manually sign and date the form. I do hopes that help and the video told you that along with the guidance.
Which country ur from and are you the dependant of a protected person overseas?
