I’ve checked the threads and found out the duration from LPP to oath takes about 2 months. But I wish I know how Montreal office is thinking coz I saw a January applicant (technically Feb as this person’s aor is in Feb) got the oath ceremony on June 12
Omg then mine will be … in July … : (

Got oath invitation, in the morning did see on tracker, afternoon received the email with information. Zoom oath and was waiting from March no changes were done, only LP was finished on March 7th nothing until today.

Wish you all luck!!

similar situation, background hasnt' been done yet, do you know why you were called for an interview? I haven't received any updates since march 16th. nor request for fingerprints or interview. Can you also share what was asked in the interview.
this is my spouse's application and we live in the USA now. She is living in the US for a few months now while the citizenship application is processing. I think this is the reason why she was called. She took the test in person in Canada and at the interview it appears like the staff was polite and staff but asked a lot of questions around her job, where she's living right now and what program we became PR as and who was the primary applicant etc. My wife said they also asked about our children and where our child went to school at. They also asked her if the current address is owned or rented, but my wife gave a friend's address and she mentioned that. That's about it, nothing seemed out of ordinary. The officer said to watch for tracker updates didn't give a timeline on when it will happen, etc.

But my wife called IRCC today and she was told that there's nothing bad the ircc associate is seeing on my wife's case and everything is done (background, etc) but it's just waiting and going through the processing time (which felt good and bad), because there's others who are getting approved who submitted after my wife's but good to see there were no notes/anything bad per ircc. we don't know what to make of the call and what the ircc officer said though.

How do we interpret these comments from the ircc officer?
