Hi,
I am planning to bring my mother along with me during July. Can you please share
1. what are all the documents are necessary for her to show at CBSA officer? and
2.do I still need to have the entire proof of funds in my Canada bank account or I can use it?
3. While submitting the application I was in Alberta but now I vacated the place for my vacation in India and planning to relocate to another city. In that case, i cannot use my invitation letter that I used for visa. Will my new lease agreement is accepted on the place of that?
4. What further questions I should be prepared to handle?

Your mother accompanying you when you return to Canada when you are not established could raise some concerns. How long have you been abroad? The goal of a supervisa is to visit a child who is established in Canada and typically doesn’t have the ability to spend a lot of time abroad. You are suggesting that your mother is accompanying you as you move to another province. Do you have a new rental agreement signed with immediate move in date? Are you employed in Canada? Your mother would have to show proof of 1 year of insurance. You could be asked for proof that you have the funds to support your mother especially given it appears you are starting a new life in another province.

I was living n Canada for 4yrs and now a PR since a year. I still work for a Canadian employer remotely. I have sufficient funds and Manulife health insurance for my mother. I m yet to find a new house for rent in another province.

Working remotely is not the same as living in Canada. How long have you been out of Canada and were you still a resident and tax resident (that would partially be determine by CRA)? You no longer had a home in Canada based on your post so that could have impacted your status in Canada. It is impossible to predict what will happen when returning to Canada with your mother. It partially depends on how long you have been out of Canada.

I came out on May 15th 2025 and am PR and paying taxes. Planning for a little over a month long vacation and returning by July 1st week. I m still working for the Canadian employer remotely.

It sounded like you had left Canada for many months so no issue. The fact that you are moving provinces and your mother appears to be accompanying you as you set up a new life in another province is not great in terms of optics but always put to CBSA to decide whether a visitor can enter and for how long. As long as your mother can still show she is only visiting Canada and still has ties to her home country and she plans to return home when her visit ends or she is unable to obtain supervisa insurance then she probably won’t run into issues.
