As far as I'm aware, it typically has a validity period of six months, sometimes a year. It may sometimes be shorter (I don't know), but not just a couple of days.

1. Depends very, very much on whether the applicant is in compliance with the residency obligation or not. And to a lesser degree, the office.
2. If approved, you'll submit passport according to local visa office procedure (almost always by submitting through visa application centres.)

I do not think there is a requirement of a Photo for PRTD. Can someone please confirm as the same document is used for PR card renewal?

It is the same form. I don't recall whether a photo is required (don't think so).

Not really. There may be a few other mentions in forums here. I vaguely recall someone mentioning checking whether too much text in some of the text boxes - but that's so vague I don't know if it helps. Also check dates and whether they overlap where they should not.

Thanks, I was able to submit successfully and received approval. I have to submit passport now.

Did anyone apply from India? If yes, did you submit Appendix A form. I remember that Biometrics and Photo are not required. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

if i get the point your PRTD was accepted and now you had to give your passport for a stamp/visa there? length ?

Sorry, I did not clearly understand your query.

For me, PRTD was approved in one day and we submitted the Passport the immediate next day after booking an appointment at VFS Global.

Passport submission and collection may take 20 business days, but I highly doubt that. They have given a tracking ID and I am closely following up on it.

Thanks; i was not clear sorry. I said once the PRTD was approved, what was the length of the visa stamp? 6 months? multi entry?

I don't know about the above yet. I am just waiting to get mine stamped and let you know what I receive.

If anyone else has already received, please shed some light on it.
