As I am over 55, I'm hoping this will go faster since I'm exempt from several of the requirements (i.e. Test & Language). I shouldn't have much of a background check since my only prior country is my origin.

AOR timelines seemed to jump up a lot last month which is unfortunate timing...

I added my data to the spreadsheet.

Is there a whatsapp group or excel sheet to track progress? If yes, could i please get the link? Thanks

Does anyone know if having to resubmit puts me back to the beginning of the entire queue?

Can keep your timeline updated, track progress, and compare with other monthly groups by following the links in the top-center of the above screenshot.

I’m planning to submit my citizenship application this month. I landed in Canada as a PR in April 2022 and have now accumulated over 1,100 days of physical presence.

I had submitted a police certificate as part of my PR application. Since landing, I haven’t travelled outside of Canada.
Would I still need to provide a new police certificate with my application? Obtaining one from the country I previously lived in is quite a lengthy process and can take a couple of months.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you have not left Canada for more than 180 days, it is not necessary.

Got it, thank you

I was under the impression that I needed to provide PCCs covering the last 5 years. Since I’ve been living here from 2022, I thought I would need to submit a PCC for the 2020–2022 period from the country I lived in before—but I had already submitted that when I applied for PR. I’m planning to apply this month and have been going through forums and watching YouTube videos to gather information, but it’s getting a bit confusing… haha

While youtube videos and the like can be useful, there's really no substitute for going through the forms and reading hte instructions.

I believe you do need to cover a 5-year period. However, I understood that if your only absence longer than 180 days was your country of origin then you didn't need to get one. There are several forum topics on the subject for further clarification and I think the Application Instructions may also state this.

Is this data just for Express Entry applicants? I thought the monthly spreadsheet covers the normal application process.
