Hello, My parents was on visitor visa stay was expired on April 10,2024 and applied for the extension until 7 November 2024 . But they left the country on November 1,2024. I sent webform to ircc about that they went to India and are not in canada. I received the reply today: April 28,2025 and IRCC refused :that I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the IRCC. Your application therefore refused. Persons wishing to extend temporary resident status in canada must satisfy and officer that they will leave Canada by end of the period authorised for their stay……. Your status in Canada is valid until April 28 , 2025. But they already left in November 2024.
Question : What could be the reason for the refusal? Is it because they are not in country .this happened first time as we have applied 2,3 times in the past.
2) can they re enter ? they have still visa .
