I submitted my permanent residence application 14 months ago under Humanitarian & Compassionate category. I received the approval in principle letter last week. One of the requirement is that I have to proof that I did not receive any welfare from government.
Last year, I received the Child Care Benefit. Will this affect the approval of my Permanent Residence? If yes, what should I do?

CCB does not count as social assistance. You do still need to show you can support yourself and your child financially.

Awesome. How about the Child care subsidy?

Don’t believe that counts either but you still should be able to prove that you would be able to support your family if these subsidies were to disappear for example. For H&C in general you should show that you will be a net benefit to Canada financially and not a drain.
