Hi everyone, I just found out that I worked part time while being a part time student. I was enrolled in 17 credit hours and apparently my college considers 18 credit hours to be full time. Hence I was not suppose to work while being part time student but as i did not know till the end of the term, so i did. Does anyone have been in the same situation or knows what will happen?

So you are not eligible for PGWP anyways so working in violation of study permit will not matter.
Because you can only be part time for your last semester. That is a PGWP rule. You are not eligible for PGWP because you were part-time, and you worked in violation of your study permit. So you have two issues.
From IRCC,
You meet the general eligibility requirement to apply for a PGWP if
- you completed a study program at a designated learning institution
- you maintained full-timestatus as a student in Canada during each semester of your study program
- There are some exceptions to this requirement, including
- studying part-time during your final semester
- There are some exceptions to this requirement, including
agree. OP has a bigger problem being part time than working during part time study.
hey, can i get an update about what happened. Currently stuck in the same situation and my study permit is expiring but i still have few courses left so i need to extend my study permit atleast so all of my years and money dont go to waste. I had to take less courses due to some serious health issues and academic accommodations. But, not knowing that i was part time student now worked for a month not more than that less than 20hr/weekly. So will they reject my study permit extension if i apply for it.!!!!!!
