Hi all, i have applied my tourist visa application file on March 26th and received biometric letter on March 28th. I have done my biometric on April 3rd. Till that my file is in background verification i have sent web form to ircc regarding this. I just want to confirm how much more time it will take to get the visa. As i have my flight on april 23rd and everything is confirmed. Please guide me what to do next..

Where did you apply from because IRCC states never to buy airfare. Has eligibility even started. Processing can take months.
I have applied from India, Delhi. When i am applying it is showing it will take 21 days. I really don't no what to do.
Sure i will speak with them. Could you little guide as how much more time they will take. Because it's already 17-18 days.
21 days is just an estimate when most will get visa. People on this forum have been waiting months from India and some have study and work permits. No one can tell you how long it will take. Has eligibility and background been completed? IRCC tells you not to buy tickets until visa is approved.
Background verification has already in process from April 3rd and eligibility is not yet started.
Not much you can do. Posting under Moving from the US so do you have a valid US visa?
There’s no guarantee of time it takes. The time they put there is an estimate and is different for everyone. Some people get it in weeks and some months, and even some over a year. As said above, call the airline and cancel the flight. They will charge you for it, but at least you will have money back to rebook later.
Hi guys my visa has been refused under 179 b. I have sufficient funds 700,000/- in bank also i have submitted CA report of evaluation of property 3.5 crore.

Order GCMS notes as 179b is generic statement that you will not leave. So you have $700k CDN in cash in the bank (personal account in your name)? How long was visit? Property is not funds. What were your ties to return (spouse/child, job, investment/income property, business)? What was reason for visit?
I have ordered GCMS notes. I have in bank INR 7 lakh in bank, and property valuation. Also i have shown hotel booking and flight round ticket.
Don’t know how much that is in Canadian but how long was visit? You want around $15-20k in your bank to show you can afford a visit but not use all funds.
