Sponsoring a common law while going through a divorce

Has anyone filed lately for their common law while going through a divorce? What did you use as proof of marriage breakdown? I just started the divorce proceeding.

Assuming you have some sort of paperwork to show you've started divorce proceedings, I think that would be pretty strong evidence.

This is a fairly unusual situation. Most have divorced before sponsoring another person. Did you sponsor your last spouse and when did they land if you did? If they were sponsored how long were they in Canada before you separated and how long has it been since they landed?

This is not unusual, however I never sponsored a spouse before, this is my first time. You can sponsor a common law while going through divorce.
