You should not go to the border and try to reenter or you risk being denied reentry. You can apply to try and extend your visitor record online. It will allow you to remain in Canada The fact that you have been visiting Canada for over 6 months will also create red flags when it comes to the job offer from your nephew. It is clear that you are trying to find a way to remain in Canada. As already mentioned your chances of approval for a WP are likely better if the job was not being offered by a family member.

Applying for an extension within Canada will buy you some time but the extension is far from guaranteed and getting a WP as a visitor is also not guaranteed. If you leave Canada you should be planning on remaining in your home country for a good amount of time and reestablishing your home, working, etc. before attempting to visit again. Spending 6 month visiting Canada is already a very long time. A 6 month visit is already a very long visit so any longer there will likely be concerns that you are not a genuine visitor
