OCT 28 - Applied for citizenship;
NOV 15 - AOR received;
NOV 17 - Background check completed;
DEC 21 - Test invitation email from IRCC Niagara;
DEC 29 - Test Taken;
JAN 12 - Test completed in tracker;
JAN 19 - LPP completed;
Citizenship Ceremony not started;

- 19/01/2024 Notice to appear's email received;
- 22/01/2024 Oath date, ecertificate downloaded 2 hours after the ceremony.

I have read in other forums that oath rescheduling takes 6 months or so..

It's random, but don't worry about it if you are not in a rush. Even if they schedule you before March 16, just email them that you are travelling and they'll schedule you again.

I’ve heard that you need to give them a really good reason why they need to reschedule the oath for you. So saying “just traveling” might be not good enough

Dec 12 Received invite to complete the Citizenship test (have time from Dec 18 -Jan 17)
Dec 13 requested fingerprints - requested from the Vancouver office
Dec 14 fingerprints submitted, results will be sent to CIC in Vancouver
Dec 26 - test taken

Still, Background Verification and Citizenship Test are not completed,
Is anyone in the same situation?
I have the same timeline except I applied from Montreal...My citizenship test has been marked as completed Dec 30th but since then no movement.

I too plan to postpone if I receive my oath. I am travelling to India in March and I have already booked my tickets. Rather than taking up the stress of getting my documents ready before my travel, I think postponing it is a better choice.

I applied in October, got AOR in Nov 3rd week and nothing has moved after that. Not even the test invite. Is there any one like me in the universe? And people are telling me you can't do anything, just wait.
