Study permit issue

I came here on 2022 September for environmental technician programme which study permit valid until 2024 September, but I switched to general arts and science on 2023 Jan but I didn't attend class due to health problems and I didn't give exams and then it was vacation time for 4 months after that I didn't return to college on 2023 September .college reported to ircc that I'm nor longer as student, but now for this 2024 Jan I wanted to join back to college ,but they said my study permit is not valid...what I will have to do please help me

You need to apply for a new study permit. You might as well start a new program too. Pay first year tuition and show $20k. Need to show career/education advancement too. Are you in Canada? If so, change status to visitor

So you have no status in Canada. Change status to visitor. If you were working then stop. You need LOA from school to apply for a study permit. You cannot study until approved (if it is).

Thought you said your permit was cancelled because school informed IRCC. You only have one study permit and you said you changed programs, and it was cancelled.

You only have one study permit, and you switched programs and then it was cancelled. Did you change schools? When you changed programs, your study permit changed to the general arts and science. If college informed IRCC the study permit in your hands is cancelled.

So you didn’t change schools, and the school cancelled it. Doesn’t matter if the one in your hands is for an environmental program, it is cancelled. You need a new study permit. So did the school contact IRCC and cancel it. Seems they did because they said it isn’t valid. You haven’t studied in a year so you haven’t met conditions to keep your permit anyways
