Hiii ! I'm sharandeep singh, 16yo..
I've applied for minor study visa Canada from india, I've lodged my file on 14 October, 2023 and got biometrics done on 20 oct 2023 , update very first day !! I've been waiting for my results for 30 days and and yesterday I got refusal....
With reasons ,
You will not leave canada and your funds are insufficient for your stay !

About my file,

My age is 16 years 4 months. My father were accompanying me..my study was going to start on 27 Jan 2024 , I'm thinking to reapply again, should I?

According to me my file was all good , my funds my assets and sop was very good ! I showed almost 35 lakhs (INR ) as a funds and 12 lakhs(INR) ITR'S of my parents and showed my grandfather's salary to support me.

Showed my father's stong ties in india as a business, with long explanation.

I have always got 1st rank in all standards. I got 97 % in my 10th standard, so my academic factor was very strong.
I'm intermediate in English.

Please suggest me what should I do ? please I'm eagerly want to study in canada...... Please reply

What is your father’s status is Canada? Is he on a work visa? If not, you need a Canadian guardian/custodian. It is mandatory. There are forms to fill out.

If father is not on work permit, then how much is your school tuition. Have you paid tuition? How many years are you studying for? Where are you living? Funds are cash. Are these in your account or parents? If not solely your funds, then how are you parents going to support you and them? You cannot work so your funds must be substantial.

No , my father isn't in canada. He was going with me. And we've appointed guardian as requirement in canada and we filled out the regarding documents and attached with our file. we've applied visitor visa for my father to accompany me in canada along with my file. The main document we attached is invitation letter from my canadian school.

My tution fees was $13,000 . we've paid 70% of my fees and we're supposed to pay 30% after approval.

I got the LOA for one year . I'm from indian , currently in India . I was applying for school in Mississauga, Ontario.

Funds are cash in my father's account. I know I can't work there! Therefore I attached ma grandmother and grandfather's pension documents.

Also I attached my mother's, sister's, and my father's ITR'S .

What should I do now ?
Should i reapply?

I'm confused.....

I'm depressed.

Order GCMS notes if you want to read full reasons. “Not leaving after studies” may be explained in the notes. Thinking it is because you have LOA for one year, and why would you attend high school for only one year. Is this grade 11? So are you planning on taking Grade 12 in Canada? Why come to Canada half way through a high school year? Why not start in September? You will have to decide whether to reapply but you must include new documentation. So you have a Canadian guardian. Has your father’s TRV been approved because he would have applied separately?

The only funds IRCC will look at are your parents. Grandparents pension documents are irrelevant. ITRs are irrelevant. IRCC wants to see cash. So you need around $30k for one year. Is tuition $17k for one semester or two semesters? I don’t know how much 35 lakhs (INR ) is but it must be in a personal account. And is this all your and your parents savings? If so, how will they support themselves. They are using all savings for you to study one year in Canada. Income is not cash.

Just like to point out that if you're having your father remain with you in Canada while you study, he doesn't have particularly strong ties to his home country.

One of the big issues is your father wanting to join you. Studying abroad is not meant for families to join especially if he has been providing income for your family and can’t work. There will be concerns that your father intends to try to secure a work permit while in Canada and then your whole family will want to join both limited you in Canada. If you only planned on studying your family would exhaust their savings for to attend secondary school which doesn’t make sense. Does your mother work and can she support your studies abroad and the rest of your family? Especislly for secondary school student IRCC really wants to see parents providing proof of financial support not other family members. Agree the starting school in January doesn’t make sense. Unless you are very wealthy it does not make sense to come to Canada to study in secondary school. Come do a masters degree. That is a much better use of savings.

But many international students and their dad or mom come to Canada together. The parent often extend their stay and their expenses are financially supported by the other parent in the home country (meaning the parent don't have to secure a work permit while in Canada and only take care of his children).

Order GCMS notes. issue is funds. Parents using all savings to attend one year of high school. And they still need funds for their own expenses. Why high school and not post secondary?

We've showed also extra funds and ITRs for that. And I think it's best to go canada in young age, so I can fit myself in their culture and climate.
