I'm answering form IMM 1294 and on Question 5 it is asking me to input "Funds available for my stay". What do I put in here exactly? Do I put all the money I have currently in my bank account?

I've already paid for my first year of tuition and I've made a $10,000 GIC account with CIBC. Do I put in what I paid for the tuition + 10,000? That way, I can easily prove both if the visa officer requests for proof.

Would appreciate any help.

Put in the tuition amount for your entire program (not just the first year) and calculate your living costs as C$800-1000 per month. Add it all up for the duration of your program. If you have the funds (backed up by the financial documents you attach) put that number in the box.

Is it really the entire program? I've tried looking it up and some sources say it's only for the first year.

One in this guide:

And the other on form IMM5483e:

Also, I would like to add. This is for the SDS stream.

All I'm saying is that, if you have funds for your program, put the number in. If you don't, then put in the amount for the first year. It's your choice. :). Just make sure that it relates to the financial documents you attached as proof.

Hey bro I wanted to ask a similar question as well, can we insert the values of both liquid and "assets" like lands apartments as well? or just the Liquid amount we have in banks ? A faster response will be very much appreciated as I will be applying by today thank you

Liquid cash/bank statements.
Thanks for the reply
My previous application was rejected due to the incompetence of an agent and she inserted the wrong amounts so im a bit wary Since my program fees for 2 years are 55200 and my liquid funds are almost 150k+ but if i added the assets then my funds surpasses 800k so isnt it better to show more?

Your assets are not cash. If property then you have evaluations and in your name. May be considered as ties to return if income. What were reasons for refusal as incompetent agent is not a reason? And how are you addressing reasons?
