Apply for jobs on Canadian job sites like Indeed. You need a job offer and your employer needs to file for and pay $1k for a LMIA. The LMIA shows that no Canadian or PR could be hired, only you. Then with LMIA, you apply for a closed work permit. For the permit, you show that you are experienced to do the job. Depending on the job requirements, you may need IELTS for language and ECA for education. Most if not all jobs posted will say that you must be a citizen, PR or a person with work authorization to apply so no point in applying for those jobs.

For HVAC, see if it is a licensed trade because it if is, you cannot work in Canada without it.

I totally get where you're coming from, looking to apply for a job in the Electrical and HVAC fields. It's a smart move considering how in-demand these skills are. My advice would be to start by polishing up your resume, highlighting any relevant experience or certifications you might have. Then, hit up job search websites and maybe even reach out to local HVAC and electrical contractors directly.

That’s all mute if they don’t have the license required

Also, don't forget to keep an eye out for job fairs or trade events in your area; those can be great opportunities to meet potential employers face-to-face. Thanks to these fairs, I have found Repair Near shop near me to fix some home stuff.
