If you're a nurse, you are likely eligible for Express Entry. They are doing category draws based on job field now. I would do that as you don't need an employer and you can go straight to permanent residence.
If you are a nurses then look at immigrating through Express Entry. You will want your nursing education/experience assessed through NNAS to practice nursing in Canada.
