Gift Deed Case Information

Hi,
My wife-to-be(Nikkah to be in November) is planning to apply as a primary applicant for the Express Entry Pathway in December. I wanted to know, for the financial requirements,

1) Can my sister/brother in law provide the gift deed for the financial requirement?
2) Does gift deed need to be 6 months old?
