Hi all, my parents arrived more than a month ago. My father already got his PR card but not my mom. I am assuming they supposed to receive the cards together as my mom and dad was in the same application and my father was the principal applicant. Anyone had this experience? Should I be worried? I appreciate your help.

You can take a look at these discussion. No one knows what's going to be for PGP 2023. People are still waiting for any announcement regarding to it.

Dear Friends, Finally after waiting of 22 months, have received eCOPR last week for my parents (Inland).

My file was moved to Vancouver from Mississauga office (Nov 2022) and nothing happened for next 5-6 months.
Then Vancouver office asked for 2nd Medical in May 2023 as first one was expired (first medical was in May 2022).

I raised various web forms, requested for GCMS notes, reached out though local MP.
Suddenly received request from Montreal office for eCOPR information. Don't know how and when file moved to Montreal office.

Timelines
File Submitted : Oct 2021
First Medical : May 2022
PCC and supporting documents : Aug 2022
Eligibility Approval : Aug 2022
File moved from Mississauga to Vancouver : Nov 2023
2nd Medical request : May 2023
request to provide information for eCOPR : Aug 4, 2023
eCOPR received : Aug 10, 2023


Overall they are trying to meet 24 months deadline. Raise issue through MP, if you are going to complete 24 months soon.

Received pre arrival service letter in GC key account and separate email requesting information for PR Portal.

Anyone experiencing issues logging in to CIC portal with GCKey. I was able to login to my parents CIC account until a week ago. Now anyway I try it just giving me below error

but when I login with my ID I am able to login without any issues. Not sure if I have to contact CIC for this.? I am not able to track my parents PR progress from a week now. Anyone had similar issues in the past please help.

It seems as if most updates are from the Mississauga VO. Is anyone having any luck with processing through the Montreal office? The spreadsheet only shows 4 applications being processed through the Montreal office.

Still nothing since Nov 2022 for me

The point of that letter is to give you information on services that's available when you become a new PR. It doesn't mean any specific state or time of your PR process.

Yes exactly. This letter kind of means nothing. I see people receiving this letter whose applications were rejected afterwards.

It means nothing if you are looking at it as an indicator of the process.
It means what it means. Provide information. There is nothing to "read into".
