Hello, I am trying to meet my GF in Canada. Im in the US, she's from Asia which requires a tourist visa to enter. What form do I fill out to notify Canadian immigraion that I will be paying for her flight, food and hotel? do i fill it out or does she fill it out when submitting her application? I dont have a application myself since i have a US passport so im not sure where I can add this info for her application.

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

If you sponsor her trip this will significantly weaken her application and reduce chances of approval, especially given you aren't even in Canada.

I honestly don't think there's really anything you can add to the application. She needs to apply and be approved based on her own profile. This is what IRCC will consider when they process her application (her profile, not yours).

To be approved, she will need to show she has sufficient funds to cover the costs of the trip (ideally she has significantly more than necessary in savings and isn't spending all of her savings on this one trip). She will want to also show evidence of ties to her home country such as proof of employment and ideally property ownership. Also, ideally, she should be able to show previous travel to countries requiring visas such as the US or UK.

Is there a reason why she is not applying for a US visa instead? This would make a lot more sense given you are located there.

Because if she applied for a Visa to the US for the purpose of visiting me, its my understanding it would be denied. And the process is much harder as it requires an in person interview at the US embassy. Once she mentions me, they will think her intention is to eventually immigrate which I seem to understand is something they do not want at all. I have a permanently disability and its impossible for me to get on a plane so I cant visit her, if I could, I would. And to meet in a visa free country, the closest is Fiji which would take me 25 days on the ocean, so i would be out to sea for 2 months round trip which seems hard on me.

There are planes flying to Fiji. I have been on one...

Ultimately it's your choice.

For the Canadian TRV to be approved, she must show her own proof of funds and her own ties to her home country. Again, it's about her profile, not yours. She must show she has enough money herself to pay for the trip and that she also has ties such as employment and property ownership in her home country.
