February 2023 - Citizenship Applications

Unfortunately no experience of e-certificate. However, I also have minor son's application in process. They asked for the minor's fingerprints. His background just cleared on August 18 2023. Application filed on July 7 2022.
Same boat here as well, LPP Aug 02nd and ghost update on Aug 4th.
I think it may just be a matter of them scheduling a date but I think it will (hopefully) come soon. My office is Niagara Falls so seems it’s a bit slower than other offices.
In my case, I applied for me and my son together in February-2023 (Paper application). I already received my certificate and my file is closed in tracker. No fingerprints for me. But my son's file is still in progress.

AOR: April 5th
Background Completed: May 26th
Citizenship test in progress: Scheduled between June 15 and July 6
Test done: June 15th (after midnight Vancouver time)
Test Completed on tracker: June 15th- saw update June 17th
LPP Updated on tracker: July 31st
Citizenship oath in progress: August 1st
Instructions to download e-certificate: August 2nd
Scheduled for Citizenship oath on tracker: August 4th
Online Oath Ceremony: August 11th
Certificate download: August 14th
Passport Applied at 3.45p.m Surrey office: August 17th Urgent Pickup- paid $110 for next day service as I needed to travel 18th
Passport picked up 11.00a.m: August 18th

When I applied in Feb, I thought that online applications are going pretty fast mode of approvals. Got stuck on LPP from the first week of May. Really depressed. Ordered GCMS notes and found that the primary office is Scarborough and the Secondary office is Sydney.
I read somewhere that the Scarborough office is pretty slow. Thinking to withdraw the application and reapply. My bad luck is so strong if it is not get cleared sooner, It will going to stick for the next 2 years.

I completed my online oath from Edmonton on August 10th. Downloaded my e-certificate on 17th.
I wouldn’t withdraw - you will lose your place in the queue. There is still a target processing time for routine applications. I too have been waiting for LPP since test passed first week May, but others have been waiting longer. I’m at Vancouver office. Try to be patient we are in the home stretch compared to when we first got PR…hang tight.
Mississauga office , still unable to download certificate. What to do any suggestions ?
