I called them yesterday as well IRCC CSR said they would add a note to the office that my file is above the processing time. It is so frustrating that you have to chase them so many times for your initial PR card and their website is still showing 28 days as processing
Same thing with me. I called on July 25 (ECOPR: June 22, 2023) and they said that they will add a note for the processing office to see that the processing time has passed. I would think that their system shows the dates and that they can prioritized based on dates received. I think they should all get back to their offices and stop being afford the leisure of working from home since they are not meeting the standard processing times.

No ghost updates since, I was expecting to see a nudge since I called 2 days ago but unfortunately not as yet. I do honestly hope that they clear out the PR (1st card) backlog soon and catch up.

For those who have received PR cards lately from VO Etobicoke, What is your timeline?
My Timeline:
eCOPR: June 19
Linked to GCKey: June 19

There have been no updates since then.
I got GU1 on July 25 after calling every day. I'm now waiting for my card to be mailed out.

Hi everyone, I received my eCOPR on July 19th but I have a work-related travel on September 10th. I have been trying to call IRCC and they don't seem to transfer you to any representatives as there is a big number of calls. Has anyone tried calling recently?

I am debating whether I should request an urgent PR card via mail or an urgent PTRD, but I will be away only for 5 days.

Any thoughts?

I have the same date for eCoPR. For what I am seeing, they are mailing PR cards from mid June so far. I think in a couple of weeks we will hear something for early July applicants.

According to the conditions, you can apply for PTRD only if you are outside the country without a valid PR, see here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/new-immigrants/pr-travel-document/eligibility.html
you can receive your PR any time before your travel. Try to call IRCC and talk to an agent is better.
