Hi,
I am applying for my mother’s super visa, she is dependent on my brother and doesn’t have any funds in her name. My income is $50k annually and I will support her during her stay. Do you think they will reject based on insufficient funds on her part?

Thanks in advance!

If applying for a supervisa, you must meet LICO for the number of people in your family including her. It is your funds that are important.

Thanks, that’s what I thought. Yes my household income is $90,000. It’s just me and my husband. I am only applying for my mother so that would be 3 people in total including us.

Then you show your NOAs to meet LICO.

Just clarifying that meeting NOA doesn’t guarantee supervisa approval. Her ties to her home country and any savings factor into approval as well. Does she own a home for example?
