Hey guys,

Did anyone travel to India on tourist e-visa recently?

I got visa granted for my Canadian born child from e-visa portal (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html) but have heard mixed reviews and people are still opting for OCI to visit India.

Wanted to hear if there are any such stories.

I have an Indian Passport and Canadian PR, if it matters.

Please let me know.

Your kid only need a valid Canadian passport as well as approved evisa which you already have to travel to india . He can stay maximum 180 days or 6 months. Your status doesn’t affect anything related to him .
