I am the primary applicant and there are my 2 dependents .Criminality is passed for all 3 of us but BG is COMPLETED for just me.However my dependents BG status is still in progress. What does it imply,do I have to wait for their status also completed and then PPR?????
Yes, you will need to wait for the background checks of your dependents to be completed before you can receive your PPR letter. This is because IRCC will not issue a PPR letter until all of the applicants in the application have had their background checks completed.
The processing time for background checks can vary depending on a number of factors, including the complexity of the application and the current workload of IRCC. Once the background checks of your dependents are completed, IRCC will send you a notification. You will then be able to submit your passport to IRCC so that they can issue your permanent resident visa.
I hope this information is helpful.
