Good for you and good luck. I got pre-arrival 6 months ago, but haven’t heard anything since then.

my file was in cpc-missisauga now for further processing they have moved to Vancouver immigration depending on the location sponsored person live. after going through multiple comments on this forum I have understanding Vancouver office is taking more time then any other office for PGP processing and no response for some applicants at all: Please correct if my perception is wrong . please reply if some one facing same situation , Thanks

Yeah Vancouver is a depressing visa office ! Super Slow

Your signature suggested you are PGP 2022 and this forum is for PGP 2021, so most if not all of us here are 1 year a head of you.

At which point was your case transferred from Missisauga to Vancouver?
I am at Vancouver as well and my case is also being processed at CPC Missisauga, we recently got the pre-arrival letter.
To my understanding, we are just waiting for decision now.

Hi everyone! I sent my mother's passport on June 5th and received multiple notifications from VFS when passport was traveling to IRCC office at Delhi for processing. The last notification received was on June 9th stating "Application # has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office". It has been dead silence since then.

Wondering how long does it take for IRCC to process if anyone went through the same route? I have booked my mother's ticket for June 25th since she had visitor visa. I hope IRCC won't take too long.

10th Jan 2022: further questions asked
21 Jan 2022: Answers submitted
8th July 2022: Request for Medical
28th July 2022: Medical submitted
11 Aug 2022: Request for Police verification
29Aug 2022: Police verification submitted
28 Jan2023: Email mentioning you are eligible for pre arrival services
10 May 2023: Raised an inquiry under Access to Information act
18 May 2023: Passport submission request
22 May 2023 : Submitted Passport in New Delhi office
6 June 2023: Received passport
12 June 2023: Landed in Canada

Bottom line: If it’s taking much longer than usual you can consider raising GCMS notes. In our case we feel we were stuck for almost 5 months waiting for passport request and only after raising inquiry request they suddenly realized our application is stuck.

I guess it sounds a bit behind the majority, but unfortunately I don’t have a good suggestion. Hope IRCC can speed up the process.
