Hi all,
Applied on May 12th. No update yet.

Quesiton:
For the question where it is asking for Immigration Status and Citizenship of other countries: I did not include my H1B status in the US (6 years) thinking that it's a non immigrant visa. Now, I think I should have filled that information in. Did you guys include the same in your application?

If yes, what is the best way to update the application?

It is required to include that information, as not doing it might be considered misrepresentation. If I am not mistaken, there is a "worker" option in the status dropdown menu. Wait for AOR and update the application using webform. It could also trigger additional document requirements like PCC from US unless it was already required as part of physical presence and you included that.

Submit a webform once you have received your AOR and include your application number, UCI, and copies of the US Work Visa.

This is soo weird because my Nickname is "Chikoo" and I also applied on May 12 and also have a similar situation. Haha. I also didn't include the country I lived in for 7 years before Canada in that section because I understood it to be a citizenship status so I put only my country of origin there. I was worried about that but I have received my AOR today. They however, asked me to send my police report for that country which I already put there during the application. I have resent it to them and awaiting their response now.
Have you received your AOR? I'm guessing if you received it then that section we missed wouldn't matter. I don't know. Hopefully someone else can enlighten us.

Nice to know that you go your AOR however i do have one question. you disclosed the country you lived in 7 years before you moved to canada then I am assuming that you would have also provided a PCC for the country that you resided in 7 years before moving to Canada at the time of applying PR. and if you have provided PCC from all the countries at the time of applying PR then they dont ask you atleast at the time of applying citizenship.

do you have any idea why they asked for the PCC again? just wanted to know so if i need to make some arrangements proactively then i would.

Yes. I did disclose the country including dates and addresses during PR application. Also, in the citizenship application there is a section where it asks where you lived in the last 5 years... 2 yrs before the last 3 yrs in Canada, I added the country's address and also attached the police clearance in that section... I was surprised when they asked me to submit the PCC again.
The letter stated that it was a wrong PCC or blank document. It didn't specify what exactly. I just submitted again ALL PCC u submitted for the country and other countries I had lived in even though they were more than a 5 and some 10 yrs... but I submitted them at the time of PR. I sent them all just so they don't ask for them later.
