Hi,
Our paper application AOR is Feb 17 ( 2 adults +2 kids from Vancouver). The last update on our account was March 2. But we still haven't received the test invites and LPP still in progress :(

For people who are getting sad or disheartened just look back at the time when the December thread first started and everyone was willing to wait between 1-2 years. Just keep the same mindset that the wait time is 21-24 months to lessen the sadness.

Few people were making fun of those who were thinking they will get their application processed within 6 months. Same people who were mocking those anticipating quick processing are now again spreading bad vibes by sulking at the fact that some applications are being processed faster than others. The conclusion is some people are going to spread negativity no matter what. This forum is for guidance and advice not for hyperbolic statements, emotional meltdowns, sharing angst and demeaning people.

Please seek counselling/therapy if you are suffering unless someone on here is willing to be your unpaid therapist.

That being said apart from a few people this forum has been immensely informative and I am looking forward to hearing about the citizenship certificate and passport turn around time from people who are having their oath ceremonies soon :D

I’m at a bit of a loss. I know everyone is in the same boat and a lot of people are waiting longer so before anyone jumps on me - I get it. But after applying on December 22nd, receiving my AOR Jan 3rd. FP request and test early Feb which were both completed end of Feb in the tracker. I’d convinced myself I was going to be one of the lucky ones because it was moving so fast. Since that it’s been silence and no update since the end of Feb. 3 months and no LPP. I’m seeing people’s cases flying along and I’m just so surprised by how random it all seems. I’m seeing people who applied in Feb and March getting oath dates already. There’s just absolutely no rhyme or reason to it and it’s so depressing checking the portal daily to see nothing.

Same like me everything were so quick at first even they didn’t ask me to send finger prints i applied on 1st december 2022
passed the test on march 12
