and could share your Print Queue nr. My COPR was issued on 4-Feb-23 and my queue is PQ-COPR-6023-14 and I can tell you that we're 2.5 months now past since COPR was generated and RFV wasn't sent yet. Also from GCMS, CBSA and CSIS notes I can tell that all stages were passed and Security was passed on 4-Feb-23, so the only missing step is actually for the agent to reach the queue and click on the button to send RFV as he himself has requested it to be done in the notes.

Also I can share that no webforms had any effect on my VO and I've sent at least 5 since then, even with screenshots of GCMS notes showing them that there are no more stages left to pass. They still didn't open the file and didn't click on the button to send RFV.

If all of us in similar situation could just share the timeline of queues and then actual date of issuance of RFV (or be it eCOPR for inlands), we could tell when our queue would be reached. Else there's no way to tell.

My COPR queue is PQ-6192-DOC-BAGLR-1

I have sent them email twice to ircc.clientportal-portailclient.ircc@cic.gc.ca but no response.

Indeed Calgary have always been working unlike whitehorse. can you share what was schedule a request for? what did you miss out? Hi how did you know bg was approved and approval, did you log into your cic account? And you got pr 1.5 months after bg was completed and 1 month after approval. good to know. thanks for sharing. They requested me to provide a separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration (IMM 5669) form bearing an original signature with updated personal, address and travel history since the age of 18 with no gaps in addresses or activities. Ensure that you provide Personal History/Address from 6/2013 to 8/2013 and 7/2017 to 12/2017 (missing info on Sched A).

I already added an LOE to explain further about the form, making sure I'm not missing any gaps in addresses or activities. But I don't know why they still ask me to provide a new Schedule A again.

What I fixed: For my old Schedule A, I listed all the gap time as you could see above. For example, gap between two different programs, gap during summer time. Before going to Canada, I also had a 4-month gap. I think they don't like it. So I listed that time as studying and my status was student, making sure it was not too complicated for them to check.

*** Background check
When I received my eCOPR, my CIC account showed final decision and all the completed steps. You just need to check on your CIC account. I even didn't know my background check was completed until when I received my eCOPR. They didn't send any email separately to notify about the completion of my background check.

My journey officially ends here. I don't know about Whitehorse office, but I think Sydney office and Calgary office are still working despite of the strike.

I hope everyone has a happy, healthy, and wealthy life. For those who are still waiting, you'll get yours soon, so please don't be disappointed and don't lose hope. *** Note: I was back home on November 17, 2022, and I came back to Canada on March 31, 2023, which was 2 days after my PR approval. IRCC didn't ask me to provide my new medical, police certificate, or any other information. Hope you find it helpful.

And, for others out there who might have to 'fix' a Schedule A with gaps in it, a reminder that it is also totally okay to put 'Unemployed' as an activity during longer gaps between jobs or between study terms or programs if you are not 'Working' or 'Studying', even while your valid status may have been Student or Worker. I also put 'Job Search' on mine after I finished high school and moved from NWT to stay with family in other cities, and finally got a summer job in Waterton Park for the summer.

If you can't use the "Opt-In" process, you can use this process instead for PGWP holders. It will 'only' cost $100. The recent expiry of your PGWP fits into the eligible dates below. And, WOW, PGWP folks can apply even if they are inside or outside of the 90 day restoration period.

You need to see your GCMS notes, but I can't say this enough, knowing the location of where your account is processing provides you with little to no additional or useful information, EXCEPT that if you know your file has been transferred to a regional office then it is likely that you are closer to PR completion.

Generally all of our accounts start or started in Sydney for loading into the GCMS system and then are sent to Whitehorse for processing, and then, when they are at or near completion, they get sent to a regional office like Calgary, Vancouver, Brampton, etc. Other areas may assist Whitehorse, like Background Checks done by CBSA or batch Medical updates based on new policies coming in from Ottawa, etc.

Thank you for your very detailed response.

I already applied for the Open Work Permit extension under the TR 2 PR in January, 2023 before my work permit expired in April, however it is still being processed.

I wish to know if I should still apply under this new public policy? Would it be too many applications? Please let me know what you think and if I should go ahead still and apply under this current policy.
