You totally should. I worked in a "low-paid" (by government standards) temp admin job for the City of Toronto during COVID, and it was the highest-paid job I ever had in Canada. Even though I have 3 degrees and was totally overqualified for it.

If they don't reach an agreement after tomorrow, I feel some union members will start to cry fowl just like this reddit threads, someone earning $40K annually would have at least earned his weekly net income of $580 if he/she did not strike only to get just $375 for the week - Yes I know some will say short term pains for long term gains, but we need to face reality and the reality is that, a little shortage in anyone's income can throw a family in disarray - Offer has been made for 9% which is a fair deal in my opinion but PSAC President Aylward is saying they won't accept 9% - Interesting times ahead....
Also that lot of people thought it would not go on for more than a day or two so they were happy to take part in the strike. But now they are feeling anxious about the fact that the leadership is not accepting the demands

Instead of boasting and making fun of people who suffer real consequences from these repeated and unjustified delays, due to the laziness and pettiness of some workers as I said in an old message (See below)
Instead of doing that, I think it would be more intelligent and constructive to see the opportunities for the future for us as Canadians (or future Canadians), and also and above all the opportunities and prospects for our children, who will growing up here, where were born or will be born here... I am thinking of the wonderful Canzuk project, a free movement zone project, a bit like schengen, but which will bring together the English-speaking countries linked to the British crowns: UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand ( An agreement already exists between the two Pacific countries ( see here:

It is quite possible to support the Canzuk project, by supporting the international organization Canzuk for example, which promotes this project (several politicians from all the potential future member countries have already expressed their support for the project, in particular the Canada), or simply by writing an e-mail to his federal deputy...
