got oath notice Letter today - it’s virtual oath.

• Scheduled for Oath on Apr/25/2023 (Online)
• AOR - Aug/22/2022
• LPP Completed - Feb/17/2023
• Processing office: Ottawa

Hi, Anyone here opted in for electronic oath certificate during virtual ceremony? Is it okay for us to ask for it instead of paper certificates ? Thanks in advance.

This wait is very frustrating at times, I really hope that you will get your schedule soon.

Still nothing for me, last update was the ghost update on March 2nd. It's been almo 34 months since i started my application on July 2020, almost 27 months since I got my AOR on Jan 2021 and my test was done on December 2021. This really taking forever, I never expected the process to last over 3 years, even for worst case scenarios, at this rate, they will probably ask me to do finger prints for the 3rd time because they will expire again.

I think once it goes the fingerprint route, it becomes non-routine application and there is no ETA. But 3 yrs is a real long time. Should call IRCC and also take help of MP Office.

Ya I was told since you did finger prints, it takes a different route, they were like we have everything and your application is under processing, but they can't say anything more than that.

Today i called IRCC asking for my ceremony schedule.they don't know anything. Just let me wait e-mail from second office Ottawa.they can't tell me about how long and when. So There is no expectation, only waiting！！！

Had the same experience with calling IRCC. Email atleast they give you the 12 week ETA.

You should contact your MP. They cant do much but they can reach out to IRCC and at least can get a better update. In some cases that may force your processing officer to notice your application as well. I have also read somewhere that some of the files are assigned to officers who left the position and may not have reassigned.

How many days does test get mark as complete after taking and passing the test from Ottawa processing office? I did mine on March 28th and husband on Apr 1st and we both passed but yet to be mark as complete. Any response would be appreciated.

Should be done by end of this week. Long weekend would have caused delay. If it's not completed by end of this week you can drop an email to the test email address and ask for an update.
