Stupid question I know, but I’m going to ask it anyway. To those with completed tests and BG on the tracker. How long are we expecting to wait until LPP is completed?
2 months based on the trends going on? hopefully but it can be more. I'm feeling IRCC is doing a good job to make it faster. Recently, they have decreased a significant amount of backlogs.

I called a cpl of times
I think 1 to enter UCI
Then another 1
Then 4 for citizenship application
Then 1
Sometime will tell you they cant take your call yes but other times they will
They also offer to avoid the queue and you can leave you number for a call back
Good luck
Thank you

Seems like there hasn't been much movement in the last few days. Not only for dec 2002 applicants, but other months as well.

I have an update. Test marked completed on March 18.
People say the most challenging part of the test is taking a photo of the id. How was your experience with that? I am using a 2019 MacBook Pro with 720p FaceTime HD camera however the photo is not "perfect" not blurry, but I bit, I would say, grainy. I am worried about that.
Another question, I read on the forum is that you cannot even touch your face during the test, cannot move your head or neck at all, and must maintain a "frozen" position with your neck. Jesus, what if you sneeze, cough, or involuntarily touch your beard while thinking about the question?
Would appreciate your insight on that. Thank you!

My Personal Experience . I also used a Macbook and the picture was grainy. Just make sure that the numbers on the PR Card including your name is readable. It took me couple of tries to get it right.

When you take the test, i don't think you need to be in a metal statue like posture.
You can have natural movements of the head, just make sure your eyes are on the screen only all the time if possible.
They shouldn't feel like you have something on the back side of the laptop like notes or something and you are trying to check that. Better dont look to the sides ,up/down if possible.
So make sure you don't change your position where you sit or move the laptop altogether.

And they don't take video , if i remember the thing they mention was they will take photos in between the tests randomly.

The test is very easy just prepare properly and give it a go. Even though its for 30 mins, it hardly takes 10-15 minutes to finish.

All the best for the exam.

Thank you! That's comforting! Those macbook front-facing cameras are notorious for their potato quality. Anyway, thank you for sharing your experience and feedback!

Yes you are right about taking picture of the id. It took me a few tries to get a picture that seemed at least satisfactory. Mind you even then I thought the photo wasn't perfect. if it makes you feel any better, I also used my MacBook Pro for the test. So don't worry too much. You'll be fine.
As for your other question about movements during the test, tvm0471, explained it really well in their reply to you. I second what they said there.

You might want to prepare and apply for Visas just in case. There are specific cases that qualify for "Urgent Processing" and requiring visas for travel/holiday does not help you qualify

To apply for urgent processing, you must be eligible to apply for citizenship and have an emergency, such as:

  • needing Canadian citizenship to:
    • apply for a job
    • avoid losing your job
    • go to a Canadian school, college or university
  • needing to travel because of death or serious illness in your family and you can’t get a passport in your current nationality
  • receiving a successful Federal Court decision on an appeal on a previous application for citizenship
