Medical Request: March 3, 2023
Sponsorship Approval Letter: Feb 23, 2023 (Mississauga)
Biometric Request: Feb 13, 2023

Can you please clarify if the biometrics letter included the details of all the applicants or only the primary applicant?
the letter i received has on.ly my mothers details(primary) not my fathers. I needed a clarity as to if both needs to get the biometrics done.

Hi All,
Received parents biometrics request yesterday. It only mentions my mother name and details ( primary applicant) and not my fathers. Anyone has any idea if I should wait for another letter or contact CIC ?

I'd contact CIC... When we received the Bio request, it came 2 different letters, one for my mother and one for my father.

Where did you get ecopr? My parents passport are on way to their home from delhi vfs after its stamped but not sure where to get copr from?

COPR should be coming with the passport

received biometrics request for parents and also in a separate saying,
"Your income for the assessment period is less than the minimum necessary income (MNI) required
for sponsorship purposes."
anybody with any idea what to do?

Medical passed November 22,2022, PCC submitted January 19,2023 no communication from Vancouver office after that

Yup. But no acknowledgement. Not sure if we are meant to receive one.

I have been told that the emails go to a dedicated inbox according to the subject line, which should be your application no. After that, the documents are forwarded to the relevant departments/individuals working on the application. They do not confirm the receipt of the documents on that email id.

The status changed to decision made in the gckey account today. The account shows that the documents are issued and are valid up to the date that medical exam was passed. Hopefully, will get the passports back soon

What was the status before? My parents medical and biometric were done in November 2022. There was some back and forth about documents like - Marriage certificate and identity documents which I fulfilled. The PCC is also deposited. My status is showing - Submitted on the online Portal. Thank you for the help

Though letter has principal applicant name only, but later it says "
you will need to submit original passport(s) for you and each accompanying family
member."

So far, from other forums I found below link to book pick up and drop-off of passports.
Still not sure if we need to pay any other fee, except courier. VFS site has very confusing language .

Also did you have to pay additional fees other than courier fees? Is Package transmission free for people who had their Biometric at the same centre?

And can you please share your timelines?

Hi,

Can someone please help me on how to submit passport for stamping/COPR.

The instructions are damn confusing.

Here are the questions I am looking for answers to:

1. Can I courier my passport (application package) to VFS on my own or do I have to avail their 2 way courier service?
2. Do I need to attach a consent form? If yes where do I find it?
3. What is the passport package fee? How do I pay for it?
4. What are the timelines? How much time does it take for stamping and receiving the passport back once it is delivered to VFS.

Received PPR today for my parents in law (Mississagua office)..

Biometric done on 4th Aug 2022
Medical and PCC request on 12th Sept 2022
Medical Passed on 4th Oct 2022
PCC and other documents submitted on 26th Sept 2022
PPR 7th March 2023
