**Update**

Took my test on 7th and it was marked complete this morning along with Language & Physical Presence. Waiting just for Prohibitions to complete

To be honest, the test was difficult and questions can come from anywhere in Discover Canada. Dates confused me a lot. Only advice is to read the book, do as many tests as possible and don't rush through the test. You've 30 Minutes, read the questions carefully and if you don't know the answer try to eliminate wrong options using your judgement

Can anyone please advise me .
I got two ghost updates on Feb 3rd and Feb 4th. But no change to any of the status on the tracker .
Called the agent yesterday and she said the bg has not been completed nor any correspondence was sent . So should I just ignore the two updates and hope that nothing happened for the two updates. I have seen people getting either test invite or fp request or bg completed after ghost updates. It’s going to be a week for me after the ghost update and guess it was of no use

Does that mean I will have to wait for another ghost update to actually hear something back.
and my other question is if there was an update wouldn’t the agent be able to tell something when I called ?

Yes the best thing to do is hang tight.
Some times IRCC agents are evasive and don't want to give you a lot of info... Sometimes you get lucky and get a better agent

That is what I can’t understand over this week I had conversations with two agents. The one already did tell me that my file was transferred to the Niagara office . And the second agent which I called yest told its still in CPC and will only be transferred once bg and test invite is done. Two different statements from the agents

Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone was in a similar situation. The latest update on my application was received on Jan 23 saying that my application was in progress. I checked ECAS the same day and my status was IN PROCESS. However, I checked ECAS today again and it's back to APPLICATION RECEIVED status. Also, I still cannot register with the online tracker to get more details on the status of my application.

I have sent them a web form, hopefully that will help.

Here's my timeline, you may add it to the tracker:

There are several people in Jan 2023 thread who are facing issues registering with the tracker. I recommend sending webform under technical issues and attaching screenshots. If they send a generic response, try again and again... If we don't complain, they won't fix it

Agree. However, I'm a bit concerned that my status is back to APPLICATION RECEIVED from IN PROCESS in ECAS. I will try to give them a call tomorrow.

Hi guys, I got 2 GU . 1th of Feb and 2nd of Feb. When I checked the tracker nothing got updated. Today I called the call center and the agent said that my security check was passed but criminality check is still in progress. All the other things didnt start. My AOR was 12th of December. Is the background check include security and criminality check ?
