Yes, you need to advise them of any change in status. Send a webform explaining your change & attach a copy of you marriage certificate (translated to English, if necessary).

Just applied for roofing company and took a test.
They said they're gonna tell me if I passed or not next week.

But because I don't have both a PR (duh) and work permit (waiting for 5 months as of today)
THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT GONNA LET ME WORK.

Been suffering from poverty for more than a year since I got laid off because my boss hired more foreign workers looking for PR
thinking I would get my PR soon. -- and I foolishly thought I would get it quick too.

I am fucked up enough. I just hope the others won't get into the same situation as mine.
Just turned 30 this year and I hate feeling that I am getting older and older, without any progress in my life.

TR to PR was like a big promise to essential workers and students with Canadian education (many of them working in essential services) for a quick and efficient pathway to PR during the pandemic. With the pandemic not so much of a story now, we have been pushed farther and farther. They are processing recent express entries and PNPs at a lightening speed while we just wait because there was never supposed to be a timeline for us. How is my application any different than a person with a similar profile (young age, proficient in English, high skilled job, no criminal history anywhere, no health issues, Canadian education and work experience, etc.) who applies in express entry or PNP. They are getting processed quickly while I am stuck for a year and half now? You know what I mean? What’s the difference? The difference seems to be just the stream.

when did you apply for these gcms notes? I have applied in December start for both gcms and cbsa and nothing yet. Some people are getting cbsa notes in like 15 days, wtf keeps happening with me, nothing seems to work, so pissed at these useless lazy lot

My Friend got his PR Approval yesterday.
He applied on June 6th 2021
AOR 11th February 2022.
received 3 ghost updates between September 2022-november 2022
and received his Approval email yesterday at 2:50 pm 18th January 2023.

I have received email for PR approval. IRCC asking to confirm the PR by replying on the same email with current location and other small details. Currently I’m outside Canada. I replied on the email with expected date. From that day I haven’t heard from them yet. Any suggestions?

I submitted my application in TR to PR pathway (non-essential worker stream ) on July 16, 2021. Received my AOR on August 5, 2022. Received biometrics request on September 6, 2022. Then I received the medical pass update on November 10, 2022. After that, there is no update as of yet.

My work permit is expiring in 7 months. And also I am travelling to India this month for family emergency.

What should I do now ??

Hi guys, I received Portal Request this morning. I replied to the email and then received another email saying my application is in virtual landing queue. Can anyone explain what virtual landing queue means? Will I receive the credentials or should I make an account on Portal?

Received portal credentials on 30th December and uploaded the photo on the same day. It's been 21 days and no sign of ecopr. Very frustrating.

I applied for TR to PR pathway (healthcare stream) on July 25th, 2021 and received the submission receipt on the same day. When I login to the IRCC website to check my application status, it says my application was received on Nov. 30, 2021 and my background check and application are still in progress. If I'm not mistaken, the number of applications for this stream was capped at 7155. How do I know exactly when the processing time will be over? and how many applications are yet to be processed in this stream? I thought the Govt. was supposed to be done with this in 2022... reply if you can relate to my situation.

I have to renew my Indian passport as its expiring within a year. So after renewing passport, do I have to reapply for workpermit? Or my existing PGWP is valid till its expiry?

Just got my CBSA notes after 1month of applying for it but nothing about GCMS.
CBSA says my primary office is Whitehorse and secondary is centralized but I think as per my past GCMS notes primary was Calgary and secondary was centralized.
Eligibility: Not started (still )
Security: Not started (still : )
Criminality: In progress (this is actually since the time my application got linked in July 2022 )
Medical: Passed-Expired
InfoSharing: Complete (This was completed around biometrics itself as I have never been to US, AUS, UK, NZ)
Biometrics is cool
Mayne security not started and due date of Security is mid July 2023 wtf
Criminality going on since Feb 2022, due date is end of Feb 2023, hopefully they should complete atleast criminality by end of Feb and I hope the process becomes faster after that.
Medical passed then expired and it has due date of mid July as well so I think it's 6 months more of a cruel wait.
There's a note at the bottom from 24 Nov 2022 which says - "Reassessment granted: Client is eligible for Temporary Public policy in effect from Oct 6, 2022 to Oct 6, 2024, reassessment granted <-- what is this @SmzAmir @CherAmie ?
