for those who have stated the medical has been passed, how do you know that it has passed? Do you get a letter or acknowledged from somewhere?

I too submitted PCC and proof of relationship in 2nd week of Sept 2022. I think we could expect final decision by Feb.

Anybody experienced receiving a medical request for parent sponsorship then after a few days, IRCC emailed again to disregard the request because they found valid IME even though it was done last 2018/2019. Did you see changes on your GC key account? Thanks

I have not received any request for any additional documents. The last thing we received was approval for Sponsorship. I'm not sure the Undertaking and CSQ is required in this case because my parent is looking to settle in Manitoba and not Quebec.

What is worrisome is that they has been no progress since Feb.

Can some one tell me if meidcal for PR and super visa is same ? My parents did the medical for super visa. If i attach that result in PR do they consider or medical needs to be done again when requested ? the super visa medical is under 1 year.

Also anyone in the pool where the file has been sent to vancover for processing . how fast vancover office processes the file

Sorry got a last question.. only my mom principal applicant got the passport request letter . Can we submit dependents with that same letter

Yes, only PA receives the letter. You have to submit all dependent's passport along with PA's passport.

Yes I got the same email as you but I did upfront in September 2022 and in 2019 was also done for super visa.

And answer to your question this below one is I read on CIC website.


We’ve put in place a temporary public policy for immigration medical exams (IME) until October 6, 2024.

If you completed an IME on or after October 6, 2017, as part of a previous application, include the IME number (or unique medical identifier number) from your previous medical exam in your current application.

You may be exempt from completing another IME if you meet all of these conditions:

• You applied, or are applying, for either permanent residence or temporary residence.
• You already live in Canada.
• You completed your previous IME in the last 5 years.
• Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada found your medical exam to indicate a low risk or no risk to public health or public safety.

Is your visa office NDVO? Myself too submitted my Medicals on 29th July, additional documents submitted on 4th September, acknowledgment received on 14th November, any idea tentatively when I should receive PR request. My VO is New Delhi.

Yes, they can, I did same for my parents, and it got passed after 10 days.

Urgent Question: As you guys have already submitted your application last.I hope someone can help me with this confusion. I am about to submit my application for PGP 2022. It is ton be done online portal this year. I am confused I have heard that the principle applicant (my dad) has to fill (IMM5660 Background declaration/schedule A and IMM 5476 ( additional family information) separately on the portal on behalf of the his family member (kids). All my dads kids are married above 30 years old. 1 daughter is divorced but she is not financially dependent on him. Please can anyone confirm does the applicant has to fill the IMM5660 and IMM5467 separately on behalf of each child that he has?
