Anyone having issues logging into the tracker? mine is pausing at the loading page. Any solutions to this? I've tried resetting my password, used a different browser etc.

Hi guys, so I did my citizenship oath yesterday (finally, after 3 years and a half!!) and the officer mentioned they'd send the certificate first thing the next morning and it could take up to 2-4 weeks. I see here that it seems to take much less time (a week max). I moved to Montreal but I swore the oath with the Scarborough office as I was in Toronto when I applied back in the days. How long do you imagine it would realistically take for me to get the certificate from Scarborough to Montreal?

IRCC had scheduled my Canadian-citizenship interview to be in-person on October 11, 2022. Since I just had a surgery outside of Canada, I was not able to attend the interview on October 11, 2022. I was asking to re-schedule the Canadian citizenship interview. Does anyone knows how long it will take to be re-scheduled the Canadian citizenship interview? Any ideas please share... thank you.

I also left Canada after filling my application and stayed in my country for 3.5 years. Multiple people do that. There is no rule to stay in country after filing citizenship application. Only condition is if IRCC ask you to be back in country for any step in process(like test, interview, oath) you should be able to come back. No need to worry at all. They generally do not ask why you are not in country because everyone has their own responsibilities and duties. It can be job, family health. But for last 3 years, everyone has valid reason. This is what I thought to tell if they would have asked me. We went to our country and got stuck due to COVID and now looking to better option to settle back to Canada. But they did not ask me. After interview, Oath is scheduled immediately unless background check is not expired which adds 1 month delay. Wish you all the best.
After submitting the application, you still need to maintain PR status (minimum of 730 days within the past five (5) years). If you were away for 3.5 years, how did you meet PR residency obligation? Was your case approved on Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds (H&C) ?

It is not past 5 years. It is 5 years of PR card issued or every 5 years. I stayed in Canada for 3.5 years of first 5 years and then left. So my absence of 3.5 years is actually 1.5 years from first 5 years and 2 years of next 5 years. I still had 3 years from these 5 years to meet residency obligations.

Does emailing the SCR email work anymore? I keep just receiving a generic email saying they don’t schedule oaths
Not sure if it works, but I got my oath scheduled for 9th January 2023. However, I have a flight on the 21st so this is very tight.

Not sure if the ceremony is in-person. Does anyone know if there way to work around this?

hey email them and ask if you can change your schedule to in person for 6th January, you will get your certificate on the same day and can apply for the passport earlier, for passport if you are willing to pay fast processing fees you will get in three days max.
