Hi - Do I need to submit bank statements while sponsoring my 2 year old? Can I just submit the payslips and employment letter?

to start with where does your child fit :

Income requirement
In most cases, there isn’t an income requirement to sponsor your spouse or partner or dependent child. You only need to show that you have enough money to meet the income requirements if:

• you’re sponsoring a dependent child that has 1 or more dependent children of their own, or
• you’re sponsoring a spouse or partner that has a dependent child, and their dependent child has 1 or more children of their own.

Another question @citizenshipcanada - My spouse is a cosigner on the application. Apart from the PR and details in form IMM1344 do I need to provide anything else?

It says financial requirements only for dependent child who has a child of their own.

the fact that you didnt answer on where does your son fall in relation to what i sent you ,thats why i said financial .
