J'ai une amie avec laquelle je n'ai pas de lien familial qui est une résidente permanente au Canada. Je voudrais savoir si elle peut me sponsoriser afin que je donne aux autorités canadiennes la preuve de ma capacité financière ?

I have an admission letter to do a master's degree in people management in the workeplace (with thesis). I am authorized to pay the save tuition fees as Quebec students. The balance in my savings account is insufficient to cover tuition and living expenses for the first year. I would like to know if it is allowed the a friend of mine who is a permanent resident in Canada with whom i have no parental or family ties can be my financial guarantor and sponsor my studies this to enable me to give proof of my financial capacity to the canadian immigration authorities ?

I have a friend whose application for study permit was refused on the grounds of financial capacity and his previous trips. I specify that the person concerned has never spent more than six months outside his country. I would like to know what he should do to answer the question of his previous travels. Must he first travel and spend more than six months in a foreign country before submitting another new application for a study permit given that this current financial situation is good ?
