If file number is generated, then probably it is not a documentation issue. I see some other folks who said they submiited on Oct 25 (or 28) and did not receive police verification mail. This process is so sporadic.

it is stuck in "PCC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate." what's your status?

no wonder CG Toronto has bad reviews. CG Surrey (BC) is not too good either, but still far better than Toronto. I guess there is nothing we can do here, except waiting. I will keep you posted if something changes.

Does anyone know for how many days one should wait for status from "PCC under review at Embassy" change to "Police verification initiated"? It's been 10 days now. I am thinking of visiting Toronto consulate, although not sure if that will help.
