TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

My visa was approved on November 1st, however my tracking says “We didn’t find an item associated with this number.” Does that mean they haven’t sent it yet? How long does it take to get the tracking

I applied for the visitor visa from within Canada for a TRV after a successful Closed work permit issued at the 1000 islands border. The official timeline was 15 days which is now 16 days. Application was made on October 9th. There has been no progress apart from them checking for my eligibility but that's about it. I need to travel overseas for an emergency and do not have a valid TRV anymore. This is concerning and I did raise 2 webforms few days ago but to no avail. Is there something I can do further expedite or remedy the problem. I tried calling their phone but that was pointless.

Passport submitted via Canada Post Xpresspost service: October 21st

Passport reached Ottawa: October 25th

Counterfoil generated: November 1st

Tracking activated: November 3rd (evening)

Stamped passport received: November 4th

Hey, we have the exact same time, but my tracking wasn’t activated yet. Canada Post says that they didn’t find an item associated with my tracking number.

hello friends im trying to apply for trv online but im not getting the correct form for dependents. it shows 5257 for the primary applicant which is the trv form but for dependents it shows 5708. we have work permit for parents n for minor a study permit. can anybody here suggest how to fix this issue.

You need to apply separately for all the dependents because if you do on the same application then it will ask you to fill the forms for open work permit and study permit instead of TRV. So you should do separately. This is how it works

ok but in that case the issue is it is asking for childs school transcripts and Proof of Next Terms Enrolment (required) and shes a minor so im unsure what to upload. shes in grade 4 and we may not be able to upload all documentation required. any idea what can i upload for those 2? i do have the school board document but do i have to upload her grade sheet?

Is anyone else with a much older application experiencing this issue? I have seen some October applicants receive their TRV approval already so I’m a bit worried. Thanks!

I applied for my trv inside Canada on September 26, 2022, using a study permit (online application), and PPR was received on October 28, 2022. Sent passport same day, delivered on 31 Oct. Wait for stamping

counterfoil generated today. cf validity till passport expiry.

HI. I have submitted September 19 and no updates yet. Don't worry about it and maybe send a webform. Hopefully we'll hear from them soon
