Any idea how long it takes after medical examination to receive request for passport?

Thanks for this, please how long did it take to get the visa approved after the Sputum test

My friends' parents sputum test took 2 months. Another chest x-ray at the end of 3 months. I don't have personal experience of the process though, and perhaps it's case by case.
What did the panel doctor say when your parents went for the sputum collection?

Hello...if i submitted my parents PCC and some other documents through email because that time i was not able to link my application online...should i submit them again in IRCC Portal now...as all i see is medical passed in may but no updates on PCC..PLEASE REPLY

No need. there won't be a status line for PCC, even if it's well received and processed.

Does anyone waiting/waited for PPR after getting pre arrival letter? If yes, how long you have been waiting?

We got pre arrival on 15th Oct.. we are eagerly waiting for final decision as we are in Canada and returning back to India on 2nd Nov.

No need. there won't be a status line for PCC, even if it's well received and processed.

We submitted pcc on 15th July and Gckey status became ‘ documents provided’ After 3 months on 15th Oct got email ’documents received’ thereafter Gckey status is documents received

Just got the invitation. But my parents passports are expired and can't get renewed before application deadline.

Can we submit applications with expired passports and update once they get new passports?

My timelines are similar. I got the PPR on Oct/24.

I have couple of questions on subsequent steps (1) going to VFS and submitting the documents (PPR from IRCC, Passports. Pictures. VFS-Consent letter) to VFS and no fees is required - right ? (2) Is there anything else to be done ?

Hi All,
Any idea how long does IRCC, New Delhi office takes to return the passports after stamping?

My parents submitted their passports to VFS on 17-Oct and IRCC received them on 19-Oct.
The status still says that it's under process with IRCC, New Delhi.
I contacted VFS and they said they haven't been provided any timeline by IRCC and they are not sure how long it would take to get the passports stamped. Anyone in same situation?

we submitted all the documents on June 06, GCkey status still shows 'Submitted' and says 'additional documents have been uploaded' - nothing after that. Anyone is the similar situation?

Book appointment (usually 3rd working day appointment is available) and carry a printout of the email. They charged me Rs510 for dependent's pp.

Thanks for sharing. You are very lucky that the VO actually update your status in gckey. Mine never bother to do that. and that made me worry for a while

My status has never been "received" during the entire process. And even after PPR, the status is still "uploaded".
I'll say don't worry about the doc status line. If they are not satisfied with what you provided, sure they will send additional request.
