Parent's Visit visa rejected, applying again, how to address the rejection clauses?

Hi,
Sorry for the long post, but please do help me with this :

I (PR) had applied for my parents (from India) in Oct 2021 to visit me during my maternity leave to spend time with me, my husband and kids (this was the reason for visit). It got rejected on the following grounds (this is from the refusal letter):
" 1. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
2. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on purpose of visit. "

This is what both my parent's rejection letters said. I am an only child and I am assuming that is the reason? They had shown more than enough funds and assets. They both have siblings back home and my dad has his mom and disabled sister who are both old as well.

I am applying again now and only for my mother due to this reason; I want to prove to them that she will go back as my father is still there. Will this work? or is that not proof enough?

As for reason , this is what I am considering, I do not know which of them are considered acceptable reasons for visit :

1. I want her to have a visitor visa so she can visit me every once in a while : caveat to this being that I am not applying for my dad.
2. I have a licensure exam coming up in May and want some help with kids so i get time to study for this exam : is this an acceptable reason?
3. My child isn't adjusting to daycare and so my mom said she can stay with me for 6 months so he doesn't have to go to daycare. : Is this an acceptable reason?
4. Childs first birthday coming up in November end : little skeptical about this as its too late and also because we arent applying for my father or for my husband's parents.

Also does it matter how many months we apply for , does applying for 3 months have a higher chance than applying for 6 months?

I don't have the GCMS notes, just applying for them, but I am not planning on waiting for it, as my application is almost complete and GCMS will take another 30 days.
Also, from previous posts here, i see that many people get an MP's supporting letter to submit with their application in case of a previous rejection, should i try this?

You're going in the wrong direction with this.

You absolutely should not list the reason for her visit as being to help take care of your kids. This is viewed as illegally working by IRCC. Your mother is not allowed to engage in work while in Canada as a visitor. The purpose of the visit should be to visit you only. There should be absolutely no mention of helping you with the kids or helping you around the house or anything like that.

So #2 and #3 above are absolutely not good reasons. #3 is particularly bad and would be classified as extended illegal work.

Stick to the reason for the visit being to visit you and your family only. Yes, it matters how long you ask for. Do not request a six month visit. Go with a few weeks (e.g. 3 weeks). Make sure you provide evidence of your mother's ties to her home country such as property ownership and any employment.

MP letters are useless. Your MP doesn't know your mother and can't vouch for her.

It should increase your mother's chances of being approved if your father isn't included. Good luck.

2. Some people they put on their invitation that they need help and it was approved. But you can just say that you want your parents to meet your child if they haven’t meet them and visit you cause you haven’t seen them for couple of years and

Some may have been approved but plenty have been denied for that reason. Considering she is talking about her mother staying for 6 months to avoid daycare that would be a clear violation since that is taking away work from a daycare.

On my case my application was approved. I didn’t even submitted marriage certificate of my parents,just family information. But I chose on the option that it’s less than 6 months. I provided return ticket also.

If it’s more than 6 months I think it need medical coverage. Not sure as I haven’t tried doing it.

You should have travel medical insurance no matter what unless you have a couple hundred thousand dollars you can part with if your parent gets sick. You may have gotten lucky but on this forum we have seen so many grandparents get denied because they said they will take care of the children, cook,clean, etc. while mother is pregnant or after the birth. It is important to use language like support the new parents emotionally or just visit to meet my new grandchild.

Well I didn’t submit medical coverage when I applied but I got my mom travel insurance for more than a year of her stay here.
My invitation are not really detailed just like you’ve mentioned. Mine are simple “ my mother intends to enter as a visitor to assist me in caring for my children”

You got lucky. Many are denied for exactly what you wrote especially if there are other weaknesses in the application. Taking out travel medical insurance is a good idea no matter what. Many actually show proof that they have taken out emergency travel medicine insurance on arrival to show that they are prepared for any possibility while their parents are visiting. Although not required seniors do end up in hospitals quite frequently and we also see lots of posts about how someone is going to have a huge medical bills that they can’t afford and they need help. Many applied for a TRV partially because they could avoid paying supervisa insurance.Supervisa insurance became a requirement because so many parents and grandparents were coming to Canada and ending up in hospital and the can’t afford the bill. Some children will. E paying off their bills for decades.

I just read the requirements. If parents and grandparents will visit more than 6 months they required medical insurance coverage for 100k.

Yeah I got lucky I guess.

If they are staying for over 6 months they are usually considered for a supervisa that is why they need insurance. In general having insurance is a good idea because the cost of medical care in Canada is pretty high and most people could not afford a bill of 50k+ if their parent broke their arm badly and needed an operation for example.
