e-certif ? why ?? Maybe some passport offices will accept that, some might not. Canadian embassies probably won't. CBSA might also not accept that as a proof of citizenship. Since they probably don't have the tech to verify the E ceritficate, it's basically only as good as a photocopy of a paper certificate.
Further to what @americanidiot said… CBSA doesn’t even need your certificate to verify your status as a citizen. When you arrive at the land border you show your ID (could just be your driver’s licence) and they can verify that you are citizen. You don’t need the physical certificate.

I didn't get any update on my webform request. Did they acknowledge that they have received your fingerprint results or something else?
Nope, they just acknowledged they received the documents I sent ( Receipts and FP request letter) and will be added to my file.

Anyone from Scarborough office, how long did it take you from all steps completed to receiving oath invite? I’m a November, 2021 applicant and had all steps completed today except oath, which shows not started.. and is oath still online or in person?

Lol, do you know that CBSA is the enforcement agency of the IRCC? It's like saying the provincial police won't accept a new form of provincial id. Please do not spread opinions as facts. People who need their certificates urgently can get them the same day as the person above posted. CBSA doesn't even need your passport to verify you, any id would do, it would just mean a little delay.

Hi, I have my oath ceremony tomorrow.
I am trying to open my application tracker today but it just seems to be loading and does not go to the dashboard page
This has been happening for 4 days now, should I call and check with IRCC why it's not loading, or just wait until tomorrow?

Does this usually happen before an oath ceremony?
