We are trying to sponsor our mother who is not legally divorced with my father who is here in Canada as well, but he is in common-law with someone else.
Is there going to be an issue moving forward on sponsoring her? Please let me know.

They tried to get an annulment before, but the court dismissed it. (Philippines)

You will have to prove that your mother is no longer in a relationship and that your father is currently in a common law relationship with someone else. You’ll need proof that they’ve lived together continuously for a year. You will also have to highlight that divorce is not an option because they are from the Philippines (IRCC is aware but best to still explain) and include a copy of the annulment that was denied. What status do your parents have in Canada? If they are on work permits in Canada and have been here for over a year they can apply to divorce in Canada. Have you been selected to sponsor your mother?

Yes we got selected for parent/s sponsorship, which is for our mother.
My father is already a Canadian Citizen and already living with her wife/girlfriend (not married) for 5+ years or more.

Ok so that should help. Your father must have quite a lot of proof that he is in a common law relationship with someone in Canada like filing taxes as common law for at least a year if not many, be on a lease or own a home together, be on each other‘s insurance, have utilities in both their names, etc.
