Apply from India or Canada?

If applying for visitor visa / TRV - for an Indian applicant residing in India, is there a difference or benefit in applying from India vs Canada?
I was hoping to get rep forms signed for them and apply on their behalf from Canada, ofcourse as an applicant from India.

There's no difference.

I would recommend applying on your own and not using an agent. Too many problems with agents.
