After 2 months when I sent his application, we have received an email and this is what i see on the website

1. We received your application for permanent residence on

Can someone tell what is the next step they should expect

What do you mean that you applied for your brother’s wife application? What type of application?

means that I applied on behalf of him, same family class application for spousal

Do you have a spouse?

You can only sponsor your brother if you are single, have no children, both parents are decesed, and you have no family in Canada.

The person has a spouse (landed Oct 2020).

You mean that you helped him to fill in the application and be the respresentative for his application.
So, yeah, you didnt' apply "for". You helped him to fill the application (similar to what a consultant would do)

So was the application number starting with F included in the email/notification that you received?
I think that's AOR if so.
You will be waiting for further steps like biometric, PCC and medical requests.

Yea that's what I thought, been a while since I have done this for my wife, I applied for her early 2019 and she landed in OCT 2020
Not sure how much changed, before I did his application I was told from one of my friend his cousin's wife got approved within 6 months from Pakistan
