I have valid USA tourist visa , my 10 old had tourist visa of USA but expired .
my question is that I can apply for CAN+catagory --( where financial documents not needed ) but do i need to produce financial documents for my Kids or will they get treatment of CAN + visa processing or not if not then how much time and funds needed & time its going to take.

Many thanks .

You don’t apply for CAN+. You and your kids apply for visitor visas and IRCC will determine if you are processed via CAN+. All of you have had to have Canadian or US visas to be eligible. Processing depends where you live. You need to show funds to support your visit including airfare, travel history and ties to home country.

my father is going to sponser my trip for 10 days , so in that case how much money need to show , for ties can i show my kids school enrollment ?

many thanks

That may be an issue because you need to show your own funds. Ties are your job with letter and approved leave, school leave, proprerties, businesses, family (spouse). Funds are airfare, insurance, and how much a 10 day visit will cost so depends on itinerary. If staying in hotels and sightseeing, budget around $10-15k plus airfare/insurance.

Processing depends where you live. Your wife and daughter may not be processed with yours given they are not eligible for Can+. If you get a decision within a month, then most likely processed through CAN+.

So it is under review. Review can take days or months.

If you don’t have the funds then you show your father’s bank accounts with letter. Properties and income do not count as you need to show liquid funds. You need to show the cash to buy airfare, insurance, hotels, activities etc. There is no such thing as sponsorship for a TRV so you include a letter of why you want to visit and where the funds are coming from.

Chances of approval are quite low if you are not employed and don’t have the funds to pay for travel yourself. Are you married? If so where is your husband?

So you and your husband should show your own funds. Your father’s funds may not be considered. Wait for response on your application & if refused funds may be a reason. Where are you going to see snow for one week & when?

but whats the point of sponsering , and after a week will get back to my country as my kids are in school.

There is no such things as ”sponsoring” a visitor visa so not sure where you got the idea. You show you have the funds in your own account. Again wait to see if approved, and you may be. Is your father in Canada, a citizen or PR? If so he can invite you but no such thing as sponsorship a TRV.

How old are your children? Are you fully vacinnated?
